DESCRIPTION:Weigh To Go\n				\n				\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\nWould you know what to do in a first aid emergency situation? Would you like to build knowledge and confidence in administering first aid? The Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) qualification enables a first-aider to give emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill while at work or other public situations. This one-day course covers a range of CPR and first aid skills\, providing you with the skills to ensure a safe working environment and be able to provide a range of emergency first aid in a variety of scenarios.    The course will cover: · Roles and Responsibilities · First Aid Incidents · Unconsciousness · Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation · Use of AED · Choking · Wounds and bleeding · Shock · Burns and scalds · Minor Injuries   Examination and certification The assessment process is through practical demonstration\, oral questioning and completion of 15 multiple choice questions.   Proof of candidate identity To be issued with an accredited certificate please bring photographic identification to the course\, such as a passport\, driving license\, or work ID. You will not be permitted to take part without photographic proof of ID.   Dress code Please dress comfortably for the day as you will be required to take part in practical exercises which require you to work on the floor.
