Caribbean Dance & Afternoon Tea – Interactive Caribbean Dance Workshop

Featuring award winning Dr ‘H’ Patten, Artistic Director of Koromanti Arts and ‘H’ Patten Dance Theatre Co.  Dr ‘H’ Patten is an experienced dancer, choreographer, filmmaker, visual artist, storyteller, author and performer.

The workshop will cover music and dances from around the Caribbean spanning the last 70 years of the Windrush Generation in the UK.  Featuring dances such as Bele, Juba, Mento, Bolero & Soca.  This will be a fun and energetic trip down memory lane, so put on your dancing shoes!

Music by Nzinga Soundz, all female sound system featuring DJ Ade and Junie Rankin.
