Beginning Monday 19th October, JustBe is excited to be hosting an amazing series of Zoom Talks & Workshops to encourage you to “JustBe Your Best You”, covering a host of “relevant to you” topics. Across the series of six talks, we will be bringing you six different experts who will share their valuable experience and knowledge across their fields.
These unique talks will be once a week (on a Monday) over six weeks, you can book for just one or for all of them! Plus, if you choose to attend all the six sessions you can take advantage of the ‘Early Bird’ offer by booking upfront – so you’ll save money AND gain some priceless knowledge and be able to pick all of our experts brains for their secrets!
To kickstart everything there will be a short exercise session with our qualified trainer, Esther Shortt, to get the blood flowing and the mind alert; Esther is a qualified fitness teacher with thirty years’ experience. This will be followed by the talks and a Q&A session with our expert. Afterwards, our group discussions takes place in Zoom Rooms, where you can discuss and share what you’ve discovered, in total confidence.
Finally, there will be a chance to win a prize in our End of Zoom Prize Draw for all who attend! This will take place in the last session (Monday 23rd November).
Week 1. Monday 19th October: Menopause. After the first pause – FAST FORWARD!!
Our first expert is Dr Karen Joash, one of London’s leading and most dedicated Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. She will guide you through your options and help you to understand that there is still a good life to be had after the journey through Menopause!
Week 2. Monday 26th October: CBT – Think Yourself FREE
Our second expert is Katina Thomas, an experienced Clinician who has worked in the mental health field for over 25 years and is a Senior Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist. She will guide you through understanding how using CBT to look at our thoughts is a good way to learn more about ways to manage those thoughts that are unhelpful.
Week 3. Monday 2nd November: Mental Health = Mental Wealth
Our third expert is Patsy Alexander, a Mental Health Advocate. She is a trained counsellor and a non-judgemental active listener who will guide you through understanding how current difficult times globally mean a considerable number of people are struggling with their mental health and how you can increase your Mental Wealth.
Week 4. Monday 9th November: HR & Work: Be Future Confident
Our fourth expert is Dawn H. Jones, Managing Director of Hope Place, an HR Consultancy. She will guide you through understanding how current difficult times globally mean a considerable number of people are at an employment crossroads, how we can mitigate the negative effects of unstable employment and redundancies and build a plan for the future.
Week 5. Monday 16th November: Feed Your Super Power: The Benefit of Eating Clean
Our fifth expert is Tray-Ann, a Qualified Holistic Health Practitionerand has been working in the holistic health business for the past 18 years and specialises in health coaching, women’s health, Pilates, holistic massage and Vegan/Plant-Based meal plans. She will be speaking about the everyday benefits of eating foods that heal your body. Foods that eliminate inflammation, give you more energy & help you to feel good inside & out. Tray-Ann will give you ideas on how to incorporate these healing foods into your diet.
Week 6. Monday 23rd November: Managing Time: Time is Your Scariest Resource
Our sixth expert is Marcia Jones, Group Head of Human Resources within the Financial Services sector at the international and global level and sits on the Board of various SME businesses as an Advisor. Marcia will discuss “What is time?” and question whether it is the most valuable currency in the world and your scarcest resource!
