Words fall short when I try to express my sincerest gratitude for everyone who made a donation to JustBe4U’s 10K Sponsored Walk in October.
I am so pleased to announce that because of your generous donation we raised £9,500 which far exceeded our expectations. In true sisterhood fashion 25 ladies came together to participate, contribute, promote and fully support us.
Our two hour walk felt like nothing. We walked, talked, laughed and joked. The event ended with our walkers being rewarded with gifts from our sponsor Zest Fruit Drinks and also another gift box generously donated by John Henry, who makes fabulous, amazing cakes – check out his IG page.
The money raised will help us to provide vital services and to continue to support members of our community who may be at risk of isolation and suffering from mental health issues such as depression and anxiety. We’re starting with our seniors Christmas lunch next month and in the New Year we have several projects we will be investing in ….so watch this space.
We know that a lot of our service users live alone and we want to continue to provide a support network for them.
