MEMBERS EVENT – SCAVENGER HUNT REVIEW

The JustBe Scavenger Hunt was an evening of laughter and fun. The ladies arrived, with nibbles in one hand and a cup (or a glass) in the other.

It had been a long time since our last virtual gathering and after the Christmas and New Year celebrations, we were looking forward to some JustBe entertainment indoors.

Yvette greeted everybody in the room in the wonderful way that she always does, ensuring that everybody was recognised and acknowledged.  Val, one of our hosts for the evening welcomed everyone to the proceedings and Bev, our second host for the evening explained how the Indoor Scavenger hunt would work.

We always say that our JustBe ladies are competitive, this group was no different.  Some ladies played the game by the rules; however, other ladies were ‘creative’ with the items that I had to find.  For example, one item to be found was a book titled with the first letter of your first name.  One player tried to cover the first word of the book title with her finger and hoped we would not notice that she was showing us the SECOND word of the book title!  Or all the ladies would bring an item and show it to the screen. If they then saw that somebody else also had the item, they tried to change it to get a point, but Val and Bev were eagle eyed and made sure no cheating happened!

We made sure we had a pitstop for refills and top-ups mixed with more laughter and stories.  The game ended with two ladies having the same score, so we rolled in the tiebreaker.  This was a riddle to be solved which they then had to find the object and bring it to the screen.  A clear winner was crowned, and everyone left the game with smiles.

Here are some quotes from ladies, who attended.

Val and Bev, thanks so much for taking the time out and hosting the scavenger hunt tonight, thoroughly enjoyed the time spent together with like-minded ladies who just wanted to run around their homes and have fun. It was a laugh and I certainly got my steps inNordia.

It was lovely meeting you yesterday evening. What fun and laughter we had and competitive too (friendly).  Thank you, Bev and Val, for making it such a fun event.” Michelle.

Thank you, Bev and Val. So much laughter running around my flat like I mad.” Erica

As you can see a great time was had by all lots of laughter, lots of conversation and lots of lovely ladies spending a few hours together and focusing on themselves.
